We use two main materials for sewing
Czech fabric90% polyamide + 10% elastane
We use the Czech fabric from the very beginning of our brand and the products from CLASSIC collection are made of it. It is a high quality material with long service life which holds the shape and doesn’t make lints.
Fabrics made with ECONYL® regenerated nylon 78% ECONYL® regenerated nylon + 22% elastane
ECONYL® yarn a 100% regenerated nylon fibre made from nylon waste otherwise polluting the Earth, like fishing nets, fabric scraps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic rescued from all over the world. Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as fossil-based nylon. We use ECONYL® yarn for the models from ECO collection.
Our story
Behind every piece of clothing there is continuing of Mania brand story which we already write (respectively sew) a few years.
When my dream of having my own fashion brand started to become reality in 2014, I didn’t know what all I would face. How many challenges and barriers I will have to dealt with, how many times I will be close to quit and how challenging will be to stand my commitment to manufacture in local workshop, using high quality materials and producing under fair working conditions. At the same time I was also looking for such a project which I would like and fulfill me. Although having business in fashion is not the easiest way, I don’t regret my decision. As time goes by I started to better orient in both business and fashion jungles, I have learnt a lot of things and made sure myself that to do thing with heart is worthed. These days, Mania is an essential part of my life and not only of my working life. It is a passion, let’s say combination of three my passions – fashion, sport and sustainability. The goal to of creating such fashion which is meaningful stays still the same. I continue in searching new ways as well as in being happy about manufactured products and appreciating every customer who decides to choose clothing from Mania.
